Terms & Conditions of Service 

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all travel planning, booking, and advisory services (“Services”)  provided by Trips By Teri (“Trips By Teri,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you, the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By  engaging Trips By Teri, requesting a quote, making a payment, or accepting any booking arranged by us, you  agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before booking. 

  1. Role of Trips By Teri as a Travel Advisor 

Trips By Teri acts solely as a booking agent and intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers,  including but not limited to airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, car rental companies, ground  transportation providers, and travel insurance companies (collectively, “Suppliers”). 

We do not own, operate, manage, or control any Supplier, and we do not provide the actual travel services  themselves. All arrangements booked through Trips By Teri are subject to the terms and conditions, fare rules,  cancellation policies, and liability limitations of the applicable Supplier(s), which are separate from and in addition  to these Terms. It is your responsibility to review and understand each Supplier's terms before booking. 

  1. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trips By Teri, its owner, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for  any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may be caused by: 

  • The acts, omissions, negligence, or default of any Supplier or third party, including but not limited to airlines,  hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, or ground transportation providers; 
  • Mechanical breakdown, overbooking, schedule changes, cancellations, or delays by any Supplier; • Weather conditions, natural disasters, or other acts of God; 
  • Political unrest, government actions, strikes, war, terrorism, or other force majeure events; • Illness, injury, disease outbreaks, epidemics, or pandemics affecting your destination or travel; • Loss, theft, or damage to baggage or personal property; 
  • Changes in travel advisories, visa, passport, or entry requirements; 
  • Your failure to obtain required travel documents, vaccinations, visas, or comply with destination entry  requirements; 
  • Errors or inaccuracies in information provided by Suppliers, including pricing, itineraries, or amenities. 

Trips By Teri makes recommendations and arrangements based on information available at the time of booking  and in good faith, but does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, quality, or suitability of any Supplier's services.  Your decision to book any travel arrangement is made at your own discretion and risk. 

In no event shall Trips By Teri's total liability to you, for any claim of any kind arising from or related to the  Services, exceed the total advisory fees paid by you directly to Trips By Teri for the booking at issue (excluding  amounts paid to Suppliers).

  1. Travel Insurance 

Trips By Teri strongly recommends that all Clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage  for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, medical evacuation, and baggage loss. Travel  insurance is not included in our Services unless separately purchased. 

If you decline to purchase travel insurance, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that Trips By  Teri shall have no liability for any losses that adequate travel insurance may have covered, including but not  limited to trip cancellation fees, interruption costs, medical expenses, or evacuation costs. 

  1. Payments, Pricing & Fees 
  • All prices quoted are subject to change by Suppliers until payment is received and the booking is confirmed,  and in some cases even after confirmation, per Supplier policy. 
  • Trips By Teri may charge a planning, consultation, or advisory fee, which is separate from and in addition to  the cost of travel arrangements. These fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered,  regardless of whether the trip is ultimately booked, changed, or cancelled. 
  • You are responsible for reviewing all invoices, confirmations, and documents for accuracy and notifying Trips  By Teri of any discrepancies promptly. 
  • Currency fluctuations, taxes, fuel surcharges, and other fees imposed by Suppliers may change without  notice and are your responsibility. 
  1. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds 

All cancellations, date changes, name changes, and refund requests are subject to the individual policies of the  Supplier(s) involved, which vary and may include partial or total forfeiture of funds paid. Trips By Teri does not  set, control, or guarantee any Supplier's cancellation or refund policy. 

Trips By Teri will make reasonable efforts to assist with cancellation or change requests on your behalf, but is not  responsible for a Supplier's refusal to issue a refund, credit, or waive fees. Any advisory fees paid to Trips By Teri  for planning services are non-refundable. 

  1. Client Responsibilities 

You are solely responsible for: 

  • Ensuring you and all travelers on your booking possess valid passports, visas, health documentation, and any  other documents required for travel, entry, or re-entry; 
  • Verifying passport expiration requirements (many countries require 6+ months' validity beyond your travel  dates); 
  • Reviewing and complying with all destination-specific health, safety, and entry requirements, including  vaccinations; 
  • Arriving at airports, ports, and other departure points with sufficient time as recommended by the Supplier; 
  • Disclosing any medical conditions, mobility limitations, dietary restrictions, or special needs that may affect  your travel at the time of booking;
  • Reviewing all itineraries, confirmations, and Supplier terms provided to you and raising questions before final  payment. 

Trips By Teri is not liable for any consequence arising from your failure to meet these responsibilities, including  denied boarding, denied entry, missed connections, or deportation. 

  1. Travel Advisories & Assumption of Risk 

Travel inherently involves risk, including but not limited to risks related to health, safety, security, weather, and  political conditions. You acknowledge that you are voluntarily choosing to travel to your selected destination(s)  and voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel, whether or not those risks are described in official  government travel advisories at the time of booking or departure. 

Trips By Teri recommends reviewing U.S. Department of State travel advisories (or the equivalent authority for  your citizenship) and CDC health notices prior to booking and again prior to departure. 

  1. Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trips By Teri, its owner, employees, and contractors from and  against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees)  arising out of or related to: (a) your travel arrangements; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any  Supplier's terms or any law or regulation; or (d) any injury, loss, or damage caused by your own acts or omissions  during travel. 

  1. No Guarantee of Availability or Accuracy 

While Trips By Teri strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, availability, pricing, and details for  flights, accommodations, and activities are controlled by Suppliers and can change without notice. Trips By Teri is  not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes made by Suppliers after a recommendation or quote is  provided. 

  1. Force Majeure 

Trips By Teri shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its Services, nor for any loss or damage you  may incur, resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural  disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government actions, travel bans, strikes, civil unrest, war, or terrorism. 

  1. Photo & Testimonial Release 

Unless you notify Trips By Teri in writing that you do not consent, you agree that Trips By Teri may use feedback,  testimonials, and trip photos you voluntarily share for marketing purposes, including on social media and its  website, without compensation to you. 

  1. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles.  Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved  through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the parties agree that any dispute shall be resolved through  binding arbitration [or: in the state or federal courts located in McCracken county, Kentucky, and you waive any  right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. 

  1. Severability 

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or  eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect. 

  1. Changes to These Terms 

Trips By Teri reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of  your booking shall govern that booking. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes  acceptance of the revised Terms.
